Currently, there are no upcoming shows.  But that doesn’t mean there won’t be any in the near future.  In fact, I’m doing a show at Walter Reed in August.  I’ll probably put one on in June or July as well.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m fixing to go on tour.  When I have an act.  When I have a decent set.  When I actually hit the open mic to piece together said set.  When I start writing again.  So yeah, save the date.

What is new with Phizzle?

I don’t know.  Here is the new site – email it to your friends http://www.tphizzle.com.  I’ve stepped away for a minute but I’m back, well not really.  It is really tough to get out there night after night and week after week.  I keep telling myself that once things die down a little, I’ll free up some time to do comedy.  Things will never die down and crisis management has been my life. 

I’ve also been meaning to come up with a better name than Phizzle.  This is the bullshitest name ever and I keep going by it.

What better way than to thrust me back into comedy than an audition.  Yes, this Friday, I will leave work and trek to College Park to audition.  For what?  I don’t know.  The name of the group is called Kollaboration.  This worries me because they use a ‘K’ instead of ‘C’.  The only people who do this are the makers of Mortal Kombat and Koreans.

Oh man, what if I get on stage and they find out I’m Vietnamese and start calling me peanut?  From what I gather, it’s a derogatory term Koreans use to call Vietnamese people.  Do you know what the derogatory term Vietnamese use to call Koreans?  Korean.  Shoot.  I hope my half-Korean kids don’t read this.
