Tom Pham

In 1996, I was in my 2nd year at University of Maryland in College Park, working at the Call Center for GEIS (G.E. Information Services) in Rockville, MD when I stumbled on 4 letters that changed my life. HTML. Who knew that putting together a departmental directory in HTML would lead me down the path of such a fullfilling career in web design and development.

HTML lead to graphics, which lead to scripting and some programming. Developing web applications allowed me to get involved in so many projects in a cross-section of industries from medical to real estate to financial. What’s next? Who knows. I’m still learning and getting my hands into anything that will challenge me – I don’t mind getting my butt kicked because I’ve kicked a few.

Right now, I’m lending my expertise to the IMF as a SharePoint Business Analyst.
